You don’t need to make an appointment, and your photo will be sent to you via email two weeks after the conference. The photographs are free for all attendees. Simply smile, snap, and check your email for the photo after returning home.

The Washington, DC, area is the capital of medical and health care institutions with numerous federal agencies and research facilities. Many of these institutions sprang from modest establishments that were created during the Civil War, when the DC area included as many as 85 hospitals tending wounded soldiers.

Earn MOC Points, CME Credits

The American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics have changed how Maintenance of Certification points can be awarded. Now MOC points are equivalent to the number of CME credits. ATS 2017 attendees can still earn at least as many MOC points as in past years.

David M. Center, MD, to Receive ATS Foundation Breathing for Life Award

David M. Center, MD, will be honored with the Breathing for Life Award at the Ninth Annual ATS Foundation Research Program Benefit Saturday evening, May 20. Dr. Center is the Gordon and Ruth Snider Professor of Pulmonary Medicine and associate provost for translational research at Boston University, where he has served as chief of pulmonary medicine for 30 years.
