Networking and Ultrasonography Demonstration Central to Clinicians Center

Conveniently located between the posters and exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall, the Clinicians Center in Hall C (200 Level) Pennsylvania Convention Center allows interprofessional clinicians—physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and respiratory therapists—to meet, relax, learn, and gather information and resources.

Be Sure to Attend Industry Theaters and Mini Industry Theaters

Have lunch while listening to the latest clinical updates from supporting companies related to pulmonary, critical care, or sleep medicine. Daily Industry Theaters and Mini Theaters are available today, Monday, and Tuesday in the Exhibit Hall. All include a complimentary boxed lunch provided by the ATS (while quantities last).

Take in Non-CME Industry Symposia

The ATS encourages Non-CME Industry Symposia in conjunction with the International Conference. All full-conference participants are encouraged to attend these programs.

Catch up with Your Global Colleagues

International and national attendees can catch up, and meet thoracic and respiratory society officers and members from around the world at the Global Community in the Exhibit Hall and the International Participants Center in Room 104 A-B (100 Level) Pennsylvania Convention Center, which will host the Reception for International Participants at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Faculty Reminded of COI Disclosure

In addition to completing a preconference disclosure questionnaire, the ATS requires that all faculty speaking at CME-accredited International Conference sessions prepare and show conflict of interest disclosure slides at the beginning of their presentations. These slides ensure that the ATS complies with Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education requirements for disclosure to learners.

Science and Innovation Center Geared to Basic, Translational Researchers

On the heels of its popular debut last year, the Science and Innovation Center will return with interactive sessions by experts on a variety of topics of interest to researchers and scientists, including Gary H. Gibbons, MD, director of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Foundation Donor Appreciation Suite Adds Concierge Services at ATS 2013

ATS 2013 International Conference attendees who have contributed $250 or more to the ATS Foundation’s Funds for the Future campaign from June 1, 2012, to May 22, 2013, are invited to relax, grab a bite to eat, check emails, and use the Internet free of charge in the ATS Foundation’s Donor Appreciation Suite, Room 112 A-B (100 Level) Pennsylvania Convention Center.
