The editors of the American Journal of Respiratory Cell Molecular Biology—the Red Journal—will present an overview of the journal status, including a summary of its scientific scope, the editorial process, and current journal statistics.
Paul Schumacker, PhD, Susanne Herold, PhD, and Gregory Downey, MD, will outline current and future initiatives designed to attract submissions from junior investigators, and to promote the career development of new investigators who publish in the journal. They also will provide an overview of how to review a paper constructively, write an effective editorial, and design and write an informative review article.
At the end of the session, attendees should have a better understanding of how the Red Journal serves as a venue for publication of outstanding science, how it enhances career development of early stage investigators, and how attendees can improve their skills related to scientific publications.
This event is free to paid conference registrants. Appetizers and beverages will be available.
