  • Determine improvements in long-term outcomes by adherence to clinical benchmarks and appropriate PAH therapy escalation; and
  • Discuss the future of PAH research and emerging treatment modalities.

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a rare disease of the pulmonary vasculature with a poor prognosis and no known cure. In the last decade, many therapeutic and diagnostic advances have been made in the identification and treatment of PAH. This symposium will focus on the utilization of modern diagnostics in combination with a goal-oriented therapy approach to provide improved treatment to patients with PAH. Expert physicians will present three unique case studies across the full PAH disease spectrum, highlighting critical decision points in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
