Don’t miss the opportunity to see the latest in pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, publications and research services in the ATS Exhibit Hall, which opens today at 10 a.m. More than 170 exhibitors will be on hand to provide a comprehensive look at recent advances in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.

Explore the marketplace by comparing products and services and talking to representatives of medical device, software, research, patient organizations, publishers, pharmaceutical and recruiting companies on the exhibit floor.

‘Map It Out,’ Powered by Map Your Show
Navigating the Exhibit Hall is easy. Just visit one of the “Map It Out” Product and Poster Locators, powered by Map Your Show. Personalize your route through the hall’s more than 170 exhibitors and 3,000 posters at any of five interactive kiosks, located in and around the Exhibit Hall. Search for exhibits of most interest to you by company name, by product category or by just scrolling over the floor plan. You can even print a custom map that highlights your points of interest.

Clinicians Center 
The Clinicians Center is designed to enhance the International Conference experience for pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine practitioners. The Center is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Tuesday. A complimentary breakfast is served beginning at 7 a.m. and there is a social hour from 3 to 4 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Other highlights include:

Clinical and ATS PAR experts speaking on an array of respiratory disease topics;
Hands-on workshops on ultrasound techniques (today) and therapeutic hypothermia (Monday) will be presented at noon on both days;
Reception at 3 p.m. today for nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, physician assistants, clinical research coordinators and other allied healthcare professionals;
Resources for clinicians, including Clinical Year in Review books, Clinicians Handbook, Road Map for Fellows & Junior Professionals and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Conference Guide;
Display honoring the 2011 ATS Outstanding Clinician Awardee;
Information on ATS advocacy efforts; and
Free computer and Internet access.

Job Recruitment Center
If you’re searching for a new job or want to know what job advancement opportunities are out there, come visit the Job Recruitment Center, located at the end of the 200-400 aisles of the Exhibit Hall.

Here you can meet one-on-one with HR recruiters from hospitals, medical centers, group practices, placement services and pharmaceutical companies, or you can review all of the available positions on the ATS Online Job Board. A special onsite job placement bulletin board for companies seeking candidates also is available, as are interview rooms, so be sure to bring your CV to the convention center.

Product Theaters
Have lunch while listening to the latest information about specific drugs, devices, other products or services related to pulmonary, critical care or sleep medicine. Daily Product Theaters, Mini-Product Theaters and International Product Theaters will be held today, Monday and Tuesday in the Exhibit Hall. All events include complimentary boxed lunches (while quantities last). Learn about today’s topics and locations.

Discovery Zone
Learn more about exhibitors and reward yourself in the process by participating in the Discovery Zone. Correctly answer a question about participating exhibitors’ innovative technologies or services to complete a game card. Completed game cards are entered into a drawing for one of two Kindles each day the Exhibit Hall is open.

ATS 2011 Abstracts
ATS 2011 International Conference abstracts are available electronically online through the ATS and American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine Web sites and via CD-ROM onsite at the ATS 2011. With both versions, attendees and others can search for abstracts by keyword, author and title.

The Society has once again posted the abstracts to the AJRCCM Web site hosted by Highwire Press, so that they remain citable and accessible for many years to come.

Dissemination of the ATS 2011 International Conference abstract CD-ROM is once again supported by Pfizer, Inc. This year, attendees can pick up an abstract CD onsite during the conference at the Pfizer Booth (#925) in the Exhibit Hall. Copies are also available on Wednesday at the ATS Center satellite booth, which is located adjacent to the registration area.

Visit the Exhibit Hall from 1 to 2 p.m. 
For the first time, the ATS has adjusted the International Conference program so that the Exhibit Hall is open for one hour each day from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., during which no other conference sessions or events will cause a conflict.

Make time also to replenish with refreshments and networking. Complimentary coffee will be served each morning from 10 to 11 a.m. and again along with desserts from 1 to 2 p.m. in aisles 300 and 1600.
