ATS to Publish Breathing in America: Diseases, Progress, and Hope

Layout 1As part of Year of the Lung, the American Thoracic Society is publishing a book on respiratory diseases and how they affect persons in the United States and their families.

This 25-chapter book is written by ATS members who are among foremost experts in their respective fields and edited by Dean Schraufnagel, M.D., who will serve as ATS president in 2010-2011.

Breathing in America will be available in print this summer, but you can view sample chapters now at www.thoracic.org.
