PAR Forum Connects Patients and Physicians

The popular ATS Public Advisory Roundtable Meet-the-Experts patient education forum is back for its 12th year. This can’t-miss free event for patients and their families will take place Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year’s panelists will share talks around the theme “Living Well and Lung Health.” From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., panelists will cover such topics as pulmonary rehabilitation, integrative medicine, lung health and intimacy, lung health and sleep, oxygen therapy, and lung health and mental wellness. Panelists include Xavier Soler, MD, PhD; Gene Kallenberg, MD; Francesca Polverino, MD, PhD; Bernie Sunwoo, MBBS; Jeremy Orr, MD; and Juan Wisnivesky, DrPH, MD.

Breakout sessions for informal discussions with lung disease experts will take place immediately following the morning talks, from 12 to 2 p.m. The following experts will be available in breakout rooms:
