Know Before You Go: ATS Member Services

A great way to make the most out of your ATS International Conference experience is to attend a session to learn how to navigate the conference or to visit the ATS Center and the ATS Membership Booth to experience the advantages of ATS membership.

Join us for a one-hour special session in the Center for Career Development. The Members in Transition and Training (MITT) committee understands that the International Conference can be an overwhelming experience. To better navigate the conference and provide an overview of how the ATS works, and how to get involved, the MITT committee has created this session, which provides helpful tips and information on how to become more active in the organization. Appetizers and beverages will be available.

The ATS Center has been totally redesigned for 2016. And there are lots of reasons why you should check it out.

  1. Test your knowledge of critical care, sleep, or pediatric medicine when you visit the Take the Challenge kiosk. See how you stack up against others.
  2. Global ATS: Learn what ATS is doing around the world.
  3. Receive a FREE gift pack when you join the ATS or renew your membership while in San Francisco.
  4. Enhance your education: Learn about ATS education products, including MOC opportunities, chapter programs, Assembly journal clubs, and more.
  5. Clinicians: Obtain a copy of Highlights for Clinicians for conference sessions most relevant to clinicians, check out our new Guidelines Pocket Cards, and obtain a copy of the Clinical Year in Review or the Pediatric Year in Review.
  6. Trainees: Get a copy of the Road Map for Early Career Professionals to learn about conference sessions most advantageous for your career. Also pick up a schedule of Assembly Journal Club webinars.
  7. Rediscover the three ATS scientific journals and the journal apps for iOS and Android.
  8. Learn about grant opportunities through the ATS Foundation Research Program and other programs.
  9. Resources for your patients: Access patient education fact sheets at our computer kiosks, and choose from more than 80 titles in English and Spanish. Obtain the schedule for Lung Disease Week at the ATS.
  10. Purchase gift items, including an ATS fleece jacket, pewter lung key chain, ATS 2016 San Francisco conference mug, 4-in-1 pen, and more.

Please Note: In years past, attendees could purchase PG Course flash drives at the ATS Center. This year, they will be sold at the Best of ATS booth, located in the Moscone Center Lobby (South Building, Street Level).

In addition, a free DVD of conference abstracts will be available at Booth 2303 in the Exhibit Hall. After the Exhibit Hall closes at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, and through 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, copies of the DVD of conference abstracts will be available at the Membership booth in the Moscone Center Lobby (North Building, Street Level).

Visit the Membership Booth in the Registration Hall to join the ATS, renew your membership, or receive answers to your membership questions. The Membership Booth will be open the same hours as conference registration:
