Among the highlights of ATS 2018, you will find quick-burst learning Guru Bars, where you can rub shoulders with experts and colleagues alike.

Plus, the Exhibit Hall is a great place to connect with colleagues. Be sure that your schedule includes the fun networking opportunities that take place only in the Exhibit Hall.

Here are just a few of the Exhibit Hall highlights:

Restoring Joy in Health Care

What does burnout look like and how can we change things personally and professionally for the better? Explore the Restoring Joy in Health Care booth and take an anonymous burnout identification quiz, crowdsource ways to improve the professional environment, get a chair massage and visit with a therapy dog to bring you back to center. Therapy dogs are in the booth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Innovation Pavilion

Disruptive technologies—activity trackers, wearable sensors, and mobile apps—are transforming health and wellness. These new personal health solutions, processes, and products are challenging existing models of care delivery and how we think about health. This year’s Innovation Pavilion explores these technologies in a bold new way. Come by and be a part of it!

Guru Bars

These quick-burst learning sessions allow you to collaborate with industry leaders on a variety of topics. Every session offers a 10-minute outline of a problem statement, mitigating factors, the host’s perspective/solution, and a challenge or question posted to participants, who discuss it for the remaining 5 to 10 minutes. Each Guru Bar seats 25 participants to create a dynamic, yet intimate group with lots of interaction. Guru Bars are organized by categories of interest:

Guru Bars 1 and 2: Education/Awareness/Prevention or Diagnosis
Guru Bars 3 and 4: Treatment or Adherence/Compliance

Industry Theaters

Enjoy a little lunch and a lot of learning when you participate in Industry Theaters in the Exhibit Hall. Here, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of disease areas or the newest products from pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. Complimentary boxed lunches are provided by the ATS, while supplies last.

In-Booth Demonstrations and Activities

There is no better way to learn about innovative products than to try them for yourself. This is exactly what you’ll get to do during hands-on demonstrations in the exhibitors’ booths. Not only will you get to see innovation up close, but you’ll also have an opportunity to speak with the experts, explore technological advancements, and even download apps.

Toast to Innovation

Join your colleagues in a networking event to celebrate the latest in scientific advancements from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in the Exhibit Hall.
