Estelle Gauda, MD, chair of the ATS Minority Trainee Travel Awards Committee, was among a group of panelists who shared their perspective on work-life balance with attendees of Sunday’s Diversity Forum. Dr. Gauda, who is with Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, was joined by Antonio Anzueto, MD, University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio; Abigail Lara, MD, University of Colorado, Denver; Yolanda Mageto, MD, MPH, University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington; and Paul Rowe, MD, Forest Research Institute, Jersey City, N.J. The event also included the presentation of 20 Minority Trainee Travel Awards. The Diversity forum and MTTA Awards are both sponsored by educational grants from Merck.
