Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Pocket Guide Available

The ATS is pleased to announce the availability of a new pocket guide based on the 2011 ATS/ERS/JRS/ALAT statement, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Evidence-Based Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management. This pocket guide is a condensed version of the 2011 American Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society, Japanese Respiratory Society, and Latin American Thoracic Association Evidence-Based Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, and is not an update of the document published in 2011. It was compiled from excerpts from the published document by Ganesh Raghu, MD, chair of the committee of IPF experts representing the sponsors of the 2011 published guidelines. Readers are encouraged to also consult the full version as well as the online supplement, both of which are available atajrccm.atsjournals.org/content/183/6/788.long. This publication was produced in collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. For a free copy while supplies last, please visit the Clinicians Center, located in Hall C (200 Level) Pennsylvania Convention Center), or contact Eileen Larsson at elarsson@thoracic.org.
